Apple Martini

Refreshing and Crisp

Apple Martini

Martinis – usually a picture of sleek sophistication, right? But what if you're craving something a little different, something that captures the crisp air and vibrant colors of fall? Enter the Apple Martini, a delightful spin on the classic that injects a burst of juicy apple goodness into the mix.

Think of it like this: you raise a glass filled with a clear, shimmering liquid, maybe hinting at a golden hue if you used a sweeter apple. The first sip is a cool wave of refreshment, followed by that familiar martini crispness. But then, boom! A delightful surprise – a burst of sweet and tart apple flavor dances on your tongue, reminding you of crisp autumn days and juicy orchards. The vodka (or gin, for those who like a touch of herbal complexity) adds a subtle warmth that ties everything together, leaving you feeling both invigorated and satisfied.

The beauty of this martini is that it's super customizable. Want a tart kick? Go for Granny Smith. Craving something sweeter? Fuji is your friend. No matter your preference, there's an apple martini waiting to be discovered.

So, ditch the ordinary and embrace the flavors of fall! The Apple Martini is a guaranteed conversation starter, perfect for those who appreciate a playful twist on a classic. Get ready to experience the martini in a whole new light – a refreshing escape in a glass, bursting with the taste of autumn.

Ingredients

  • 1½ fluid ounces vodka
  • ½ fluid ounce green apple liqueur
  • 1½ fluid ounce cloudy apple juice
  • ¼ fluid ounce lemon juice
  • Apple slice, for garnish
  • Ice

Measurement Conversions: 1 fl oz = 1 shot = 30ml

How To Make

  • Chill your martini glass with ice and water. Set aside.
  • In a mixing glass, add ice, vodka, green apple liqueur, cloudy apple juice and lemon juice. Shake until well chilled.
  • Discard the ice and water from your martini glass. Strain the martini mixture into your cold martini glass.
  • Garnish with an apple slice.

Notes

  • Sweetness - this recipe can be a bit tricky to get the sweetness level right, depending on the green apple liqueur used. You may need to adjust the amount of lemon juice or even add some simple syrup to taste.
  • Apple garnish - dip it into lemon juice to stop it from browning.
